This Vieilles Vignes red is sort of a Reserve-level wine with not only the oldest vines but also the best exposures combined to make a more nuanced, complex wine with Mercurey’s textbook depth, spiciness and concentration on display.

Full-bodied with layers of plum, cedar, sage, and smoky leather. Elegant, round tannins and a touch of vanilla with toasty caramel linger on the finish. Medium and strong-flavored cheeses, such as blue cheese or sharp cheddar pair nicely with this wine.

On the palate, this Riesling was dry, with high acid, body, and alcohol, and a medium+ intensity of flavor. Notes of pineapple, lemon, a touch of tart apple, as well as almond which lingered for quite some time.

Ridge’s Pagani Ranch is a zinfandel-based field blend that shows plum and cherry aromas, old-vine spice, and complex mineral notes. Its full-bodied bramble berry fruit is backed by elegant tannins and a lingering finish.

Saturated purple color with notes of black cherry, chai spice, chaparral and toasted oak. Bramble fruit on the palate with round, supple tannins, herbal forest character, medium acidity and a long finish.

A dense and concentrated Cabernet with aromas and flavors of confectionary blackberry and stewed cassis. The lush fruit is brought into balance by high tone herbal aromatics of mint, sage, and sweet tobacco.

Fresh and fruity and delivers juicy, medium-bodied flavors of white peaches and citrus, with a clean, refreshing finish laced with pineapple and floral notes. Serve chilled. Pairs well with pork stir-fry, adult Mac n’ Cheese with a spicy kick of chorizo.

Sonoma, CA- Bursting at the seams with aromas of macerated wild berries and an elegant, soft earth undertone. The flavors combine both sweet and tart, reminiscent of Santa Rosa plums and wild blackberries that grow so commonly in Sonoma Wine Country.

The blend is 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Graceful notions of potpourri, forest floor and licorice with a core of black currant, cherries and mulberries. The palate has a quiet intensity of black and blue fruits.

"Attitude" has a beautiful freshness in mouth, a frank attack, delicate green and lemon flavors, citrus fruits, green apple and kiwi flavors. Quite expressive.
