A medium-bodied red with aromas and flavors of blackberry, black currant leaf, dried citrus zest, graphite and praline. Firm, chewy tannins. Generous spice and fruit-peel flavors. Drink or hold.

On the nose there is the nectar of field flowers such as camomile, elderflower, iris. Mineral on the palate with an almond finish, typical of Classic Garganega.

This wine is 100% Pinot Noir, sourced entirely from the Sonoma Coast appellation. Harvested in early September, this Pinot Noir was aged in 100% French Oak, 30% new for 9 months.

Charcoal and wood-smoked aromas melt into nicely concentrated black-cherry and dark chocolate flavors in this full-bodied, well balanced, moderately tannic wine.
