This wine comes from Mellot’s home domaine of La Moussière, It is young, bold and intense, with a mix of spice, concentrated citrus and crisp acidity. The depth of flavor in this wine is extraordinary and merits aging.

This gorgeous, golden-hued Champagne is luxury, with a fine floral and citrus aroma tinged with layers of complex flavor—honey, brioche, hazelnut, apricot, lemon, chamomile, and so much more—which all carry through to a seemingly endless finish.

Robust and bold, with honeyed aromas of jackfruit (a fleshy tropical fruit), hazelnut, brazil nut, bruised apple, juniper, and dried orange rind. On the palate, big, dry, and even have tannin like a red wine with a sourness similar to fruit beer.
