An enticing nose of pepper, violets, cigar and cassis. On the palate it is a mouthwatering melange of red berry and plum flavors backed by earthy tones of herb roasted meat and fresh black trumpet giving way to a spice laden finish.

A happy blend of the three main Bordeaux grapes, and with fine tannins encased in warm black fruits, this is a finely textured wine. It is still young, juicy and vibrant.

Typical of the huge power of Guiraud, this is one of the richest Sauternes in 2005. The wine is rich and intense, the dry edge of botrytis just dominating the sweetness. Flavors of honey, almonds and peaches provide extra complexity.

Blackberry and black-cherry aromas with lavender, cedar and hints of cloves and white pepper, following through to a medium body with ultra-fine tannins and a beautiful, creamy finish. A little tight and reserved now. Another impressive PSI!

A very fresh, lively and mineral nose. Notes of flint, green apple, lemon. Excellent apertif or enjoyed with apsaragus, salads, and most lightly seasoned seafoods.
