Chianti Gelso is produced from our best Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The wine has notes of violet and cherry. On the palate, fruity hints are supported by silky tannin and a freshness from the acidity of the fruit.
This red blend from Tuscany opens with aromas of dark-skinned fruit and a whiff of cooking spice. The round easygoing palate shows ripe black fruit and vanilla alongside ripe tannins. It sparkles with a freshness of fruit and a lively, dancing character.
On the nose it is refined, elegant, fruity and floral with notes of banana, pears, pineapples, and orange blossoms. The palate is flavorful with a fresh mineral finish.
Dark black cherry, blackberry, plum, eucalyptus, earth and iron flavors are embraced by beefy tannins. This comes together on the lingering finish, if not with the length of its peers. Sangiovese and Merlot. Best from 2023 through 2030.
Aromas of dried cherries, smoke, dark leather and violets with some dried leaves follow through to a full body with firm, fine tannins that are slightly chewy, yet it shows length and focus. Needs time to open on the finish.
The aroma opens with intense floral notes of acacia and linden flowers. On the palate notes of bergamot, pear, nectarine and white currant. Then it shifts towards a more mineral and spicy character, with notes of flint, rosemary and saffron.
A full-bodied wine of intense red fruit flavor and and elegantly supple texture supported by ripe, silky tannins. The Merlot in the blend is expressed in sweet black fruit with aromas of ripe, concentrated berries offset by restrained spicy oak notes.
Balanced, fresh and has a very fine structure. This is taut and chewy, with beefy tannins putting a strong grip on the black cherry, plum, earth and spice flavors. Feels more fruity than savory, ending with assertive tannins.
This is so aromatic with flowers, such as cherry blossoms and roses, together with currants and blackberries. A medium-bodied Tignanello with very fine tannins and depth. Racy and very, very long finish. Pure and refined.
