Displays a pale, golden straw color, with a lively effervescence. Opens with aromas of fresh citrus, honey and white flowers. The palate is fresh with ripe lemon, green apple and grapefruit, framed by mineral undertones. The finish is light, refreshing.

Dry and tangy with sliced oranges and cherries. Medium body with a fresh finish. Intense, enticing aromas of wild red berries.

Rich and ripe dark cherry fruit, along with attractive spicy, smoky notes. Fleshy and full, with surprising depth and length. This wine is intended to be consumed in its youth and is a terrific complement to roasted meats, pastas and pizza

On the nose there is the nectar of field flowers such as camomile, elderflower, iris. Mineral on the palate with an almond finish, typical of Classic Garganega.

Scarpetta Pinot Grigio showcases some of the best sites in Friuli-Venezia Giulia for this aromatic varietal — starting with the light, gravely soils of the Grave region.

We collaborated with Fabrizio Iulli in Monferrato Piemonte to create this Barbera. Monferrato is the birthplace for Barbera. While it is made in other spots in Piemonte, it is here where Barbera shows the balance of fruit and acidity.

This medium-bodied, ethereal effort has a wonderful mid-palate and silky tannins as well as lovely ripe cherry fruit, sappy flowers, crushed stone, and licorice aromas and flavors. Drink it any time over the coming 15-20 years.
