Montille have been biodynamic farming since 2005. Their Pommard is Vivacious and fleshy, with notes of dark cherry, raspberry, spiced poached plum and pomegranate. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and good minerality.
Mercurey Chamirey is a charming, demonstrative wine bursting with aromas of cherries, berries and spices. Leaf-thinning and multiple passes through the vineyards have brought higher phenolic maturity and greater purity.
Vaillons is a bit more powerful and structured, but Dauvissat's classic take has plenty of saline minerals and crisp acidity too. Soft touch of oak here buttresses the structure. Profound, and built to age.
