This aromatic nose has notes of green pear, white flower and honeycomb with a slight rosemary, white pepper thread leading to a bright mouth of meringue, ginger, honeydew melon and lemon zest.
The tropical orange muscat becomes integrated into the Gewurztraminer while the Semillon brings the finish of the wine to a high-acid crunch. Overall the wine shows firm, quenching citrus fruit with loads of mashable, mouth-filling tactile yumminess.
This is the pink-skinned cousin of Grenache Blanc, that is grown in the south of France. It creates an easy drinking wine that has massive appeal, with structure and flavors not unlike an expensive White Hermitage with its stone fruit aromas.
Blended with a touch of the Rhône varietals – Roussanne, Viognier, along with Muscat, Albariño and a kiss of other floral varieties, which contribute layers of richness as well as a subtle floral note.
