Planted just atop of the Mayacamas range, Red Hills Lake County of California boasts distinctive volcanic soils. The nose exemplifies fresh ground coffee, black pepper and floral while the palate offers dark chocolate, blackberry and silky tannins.

A nose of blackberry, cassis, smoky leather and dried herbs with layers of plum and cherry. Bold, this wine is structured around a solid core of boysenberry and cherry fruit. Ripe tannins provide layers of boysenberry, black cherry and licorice.

Juicy blackberries, rich cocoa, and cassis on the nose. Dried cherry and a touch of tobacco come into focus. The finish is seamless to the palate with strawberry jam, tea and refreshing acidity that pairs well with light fare or hardy cuisine.
