The ideal growing season of 1997 resulted in a Cardinale wine of great depth and structure. Showcasing its extraordinary mountain vineyard sources. A beautifully balanced, powerhouse wine with rich aromas and dark fruit flavors.

Alluring aromas of black Mission fig, black raspberry and chocolate, as well as notes of sage, cardamom, crème brûlée and anise. On the palate, flavors of elderberry, plum, blueberry, red licorice and violet glide across silky tannins for a long finish.

Delivers expressive aromas of ripe raspberry, dark cherry and blackberry along with hints of cedar and spice. The mid-palate is pleasant and round with flavors of dark chocolate, plum, dried fruit and toasted oak. The finish is rich and lingering.

A polished and inviting style, with warm cassis and gently mulled plum fruit flavors gliding through atop pretty mocha, singed vanilla and loam accents, while a gentle savory echo adds range through the finish.

It has an enticing nose of cassis, blackberry, vanilla, sage and spearmint. Upon entry, this wine builds from potpourri and bramble to a bright pop of raspberry on the mid-palate. A juicy finish with chewy tannins and a medium length.

Earthy aromas and flavors of cherry lozenge, glazed beets, succulent plum, roasted nuts, ginger, and allspice. With a velvety, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity medium-full body and a smooth, elegant, long finish with earthy tannins and moderate oak flavor.

Cherry, raspberry and dried herb aromas laced with hints of vanilla and tobacco. The palate has a velvety texture with intense flavors of black cherries and blackberries. Dried herbs and spice linger through the long, spice-kissed finish.

Shows a perfumed note, with red tea and sandalwood hints throughout. Supple red currant, fresh Damson and cherry preserve flavors do the heavy lifting. Fine grained and very focused on the finish, with some sneaky length to boot.

A nose of blackberry, cassis, smoky leather and dried herbs with layers of plum and cherry. Bold, this wine is structured around a solid core of boysenberry and cherry fruit. Ripe tannins provide layers of boysenberry, black cherry and licorice.

Charcoal and wood-smoked aromas melt into nicely concentrated black-cherry and dark chocolate flavors in this full-bodied, well balanced, moderately tannic wine.

A dense and concentrated Cabernet with aromas and flavors of confectionary blackberry and stewed cassis. The lush fruit is brought into balance by high tone herbal aromatics of mint, sage, and sweet tobacco.
