The 2021 Bryant Family Vineyard DB4 is a red blend wine from Napa Valley, California. It's a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Petit Verdot, all from the Bryant Family vineyards, and Howell Mountain. Always 96+ pts.

Aromas of black fruits—plum and cherry—dark chocolate and leather. The entry is elegant and floods the palate with notes of cassis, blackberry, blueberry, caramel and brown sugar. Rich and bold. The wine closes with dusty tannins and baking chocolate.

Bold flavors of dark fruit and spice from the Zinfandel, complemented by the soft mouthfeel and black fruits from Merlot, layered with the soft blueberry notes of Syrah, and finally supported by the structure and dark fruits of the Cabernet.

Full bodied, yet well balanced Chardonnay with just a kiss of oak. There are aromas of apple, pear, pineapple, and vanilla mixed with floral notes. Hints of citrus and bright flavors of pear, apple, tropical fruits and peaches fill the glass.

It’s serious and bold but still approachable. If you want to broaden your wine palate, this bottle is a great introduction to CA Zinfandel with its silky smoothness and jammy dark fruit, and well-balanced flavors throughout.
