Chateau Musar's reds are some of the best in the world, as founder Serge Hochar was greatly influenced by the Barton family from Bordeaux. The Jeune line of wines is meant to be fun and refreshing, as this red can attest to. An unoaked blend of Cinsault, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, inky-dark, silky-textured, and full of brambly raspberry fruit and cherry jam. Has a warm, spicy finish that reminds one of a heady wine from Roussillon. Serve with a mixed grill, hummus, and homemade pita bread.
