Gachot Cote de Nuits Villages 1.5L 2017

Deep burgundy. Rather fantastic nose, with notes of forest floor, tobacco, bacon and lavender. Medium bodied, fruity palate with dried cherries and same (but less pronounced) notes as nose. Long nuanced finish. Drinks nicely now, but will age well.
