We tasted this Saint-Emilion earlier in the week and just couldn't believe the price! Especially considering the exceptional 2009 vintage, any Saint-Emilion under $20 is a great buy. This is a Francophile's dream for sure, with a rustic and leathery quality that only comes from the Old World. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, and old oak lead to a palate with deep structure and gorgeous length. The tannic grip in the finish is a perfect match for a fine cheese board.
