This Rosso has a vibrant ruby red color and a fresh bouquet with scents of ripe forest fruits. Inviting and fragrant on the palate, it offers excellent body and sound structure. A top value, Rosso di Altesino is the wine of choice for pasta, white meats and semi-soft cheeses. Made from 80% Sangiovese and 20% Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, handharvested from estate vineyards in September and October. Produced entirely in stainless steel tanks where it is also aged for 6-8 months. Rosso di Altesino is refined in bottle for three months to ensure peak enjoyment upon release.
