Willamette Valley Vineyards Whole Cluster Pinot Noir 2006
Vibrant and explosive aromas of kiwi, blueberries, cherries and strawberries dominate with hints of sweet juice and warm spices. Flavors mirror aromas with blueberries, strawberries, and cherries dominating complimented by juicy and spicy characters. The mouthfeel is soft, round, juicy and well-balanced with fresh acidity which highlights the fruitiness. Peak drinkability is now - 2009.
Wine Advocate
The 2006 Pinot Noir “Whole Cluster Fermented” is always a crowd-pleaser, particularly in what looks to be a terrific vintage. The wine underwent carbonic maceration and was raised in stainless steel. It has a fragrant strawberry and raspberry perfume followed by a big mouthful of sweet, ripe fruit. Nicely balanced, this is truly a wine of pleasure at a great price. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.

Wine Spectator
Vibrant and appealing for its graceful structure and tomato leaf-scented ripe currant and raspberry flavors, lingering nicely on the open-textured finish. Drink now through 2010. 4,200 cases made.
