Light greenish yellow colour with pearly reflections attractively fresh to view. It posseses and excellent and deep bouquet, it is intense, delicate and elegant, with reminiscences to blossoming fruit. It is light, mild and tasteful in one's mouth. Its sweet and bitter combined touches give balance and make of it a very personal wine with a magnificent flavour.

More available than most Valdeorras wines—and very good in 2005—Godeval offers a no-nonsense version of the Godello grape. There’s typical slate on the nose but even more apple, pear, nectarine and banana. Friendly, with medium acidity.
